Ok.
Omero Online is going to be an avatar based roleplaying site. (An anime roleplaying community with a native storyline) Basically, the only bases we (Liam and I) have covered are Art and Hosting.
Yeah, that's right. Nothing else.
I can do art. I can do large heaps of art. I can make Gaia's massive monthly updates look like spare change in comparison to the amount of art I can do. I have also started work on a site layout, and on my own avatar bases.
Problem is, neither of us really knows how to program.
Oh course, we could just download a PHPBB or vBulletin pack and shove that on a server.. But c'mon, that's lazy as hell.
So, this is what we need:
Someone who, if given the images, can put those images on a page in an appealing way.
Someone who knows how to create and/or modify message board themes.
Someone who knows how to program in general. If requested, programs (Dreamweaver etc) will be supplied.
We also need someone who has had prior experience, or is willing to mess with, the avatar module for PHPbb boards.
What we would like:
Someone who can program in flash/java (for games and such)
Someone who would like to program random events
That should about do it for now. We'd start taking mod applications but we are a loooong way away from that.
